Wajax is Now the Exclusive Canadian Distributor of Columbia Electric Utility Vehicles in the Industrial and Commercial Vehicle Markets

Toronto, Ontario (June 22, 2021) – Wajax is now the exclusive national distributor and authorized service provider of Columbia electric utility vehicles in Canada in the industrial and commercial vehicle markets. Columbia Vehicle Group Inc. manufactures vehicles which provide environmentally friendly transport capabilities for indoor and outdoor use in a diverse range of industries, from industrial to government, educational institutions, hospitality, and personal use. These completely electric carriers handle thousands of pounds of material, without emissions or noise pollution.

Accountable/responsible for ensuring parts and service requests are fulfilled at a high standard of quality to customers by quoted delivery date; ensuring consistent application and administration of the company’s parts, service and warranty programs.

Electro-Mechanic

Responsible for overseeing production of a designated area, while assisting in the daily planning. This role will require 20% daily capacity of leadership functions.

Credit Specialist

Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money. Prepare reports with credit information for use in decision making.

Material Handling Field Technician

Responsible for providing quality workmanship, consistent service, and technical knowledge to the customers. 

Heavy Equipment Shop Technician

Product Support Representative

Prospect and source new customer opportunities within defined territory through development of a Strategic Prospecting Plan. 

Technical Sales Rep - Engineered Repair Services

Accountable/responsible for growing regional engineered service revenues within Top industry account portfolios to drive the acquisition of large and new accounts ($60K - $500K). 

Recruitment Coordinator - Contract (4 months)

Responsible for assuring the optimal performance of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and the Onboarding System, including administration and its functionality.

Shipper/Receiver

Responsible for the safe flow of industrial goods in and within the branch or warehouse. 

Machinist

Working inside a large (33,000 square foot) general machine shop. Responsible for rebuilding hydraulic cylinder components (core business), rebuilding attachments for construction/forestry machinery and rebuilding sawmill and planer mill components.
