Dufferin Aggregates

Dufferin Aggregates as we know it today started in 1961 when St Lawrence Cement Inc (now Holcim (Canada) Inc.) purchased Dufferin Construction and Hagersville Quarries Ltd and opened up a quarry operation at Milton the next year (1962) to supply Toronto and Western Ontario markets.

Dufferin Aggregates operates 13 quarries and sand and gravel pits, and three distribution yards in the Greater Toronto Area, Hamilton and surrounding market areas.

Our materials support the construction of many important projects, including: Highway 407 (the first toll highway in Canada, opened in 1998) and the new runways and terminal building at Pearson International Airport.

We pride ourselves in being an industry leader in our Operations, Products and Services.
