The Nelson family has five generations of experience in the granite industry beginning in 1909 with George W. Nelson. Development of Nelson Granite Limited began in 1980 with Carter Nelson venturing to the hamlet of Vermilion Bay, in the very picturesque region of Northwestern Ontario.

 

Today we are a family run operation that utilizes the newest equipment and methods for fabricating the utmost quality of granite memorials. Nelson Granite is proud to announce our creation of the most elite monument, the mausoleum. The mausoleum is an impressive free-standing granite structure for above ground burials. It honors and commemorates the significant lives of our loved ones in the most ultimate way.
