Jien Canada Mining Ltd. (JCML) is a privately held Canadian mine development company with 100% ownership of the Nunavik Ni-Cu-PGM Open Pit Production Project located at its Expo Mining Camp in the prolific Raglan mining belt in Nunavik, Northern Quebec.
JCML is the largest land package owner in the Raglan Mining district with over 5,450 hectares of mineral interests on exploration properties, and continues to explore for similar deposits adjacent to and nearby its Expo Mining Camp.
 
To date the company has invested over $1.2B CDN in acquisitions, development and construction of its flagship asset the Nunavik Ni-Cu-PGM Open-Pit Project. It has achieved rapid construction and infrastructure improvements of its two open pit mining sites, crushing and processing plant, camp, shipping port and mobile mining fleet.
 
JCML began production in January 2013. It will process 4,500 tonnes/day of ore by its new concentrator, and produce 100,000 tonnes/year of Nickel concentrate and 60,000 tonnes/year of Copper concentrate.
 
The JCML leadership team includes dedicated professionals with extensive experience in base and precious metals mining exploration and development, construction and operations, processing and metal sales. JCML technical expertise in global mining is complimented with seasoned business management, global finance, corporate development and operational efficiency to optimize return on investment for its shareholders.
 
The Cost Controller is a key member of managing JCML's mines.  The following is a brief descripiton for the position. 
 
Responsibilities:
• Conduct site visit and provide monthly costing analysis
• Continuous review Operational Financial Results and highlight issues to the operation leadership team
• Review of WIP, Inventory and Fixed Assets
• Build up and improve cost control processes for the mine
• Review and assessment of operating/control procedures annually
• Administrate Fixed Asset Purchases and other major purchase for the site
• Recommending best practices and implementing improved processes
