Mariana Resources Ltd is an AIM quoted exploration and development company with an extensive portfolio of gold, silver and copper projects in Peru and southern Argentina.
Corporate Strategy
Mariana’s objective is to increase value for shareholders by advancing discovery projects that offer the potential for scale and economics along the mineral resource development life cycle, focusing in Peru and Argentina.
The delivery strategy encompasses a short to medium term Peruvian focus whilst Argentina offers longer term potential. This strategy entails:
• acquiring highly prospective land packages that offer the potential for economic scale,
• exploration of these to potential discoveries,
• developing discoveries to robust projects.
In order to achieve this, the Company has a highly experienced management team with a successful track record in discovery through to resource development.
Furthermore management is deploying two experienced exploration teams focused in Peru at the Condor de Oro Project and in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina.
Mariana’s exploration strategy has been successful to date with the following discoveries:
• an important new gold-silver discovery at its 100% owned Las Calandrias Project in late 2009,
• a silver-gold discovery at its 100% owned Sierra Blanca Project in 2008 and subsequent drilling campaigns.
The Company strategy in the short term is to concentrate on delivery of its Peruvian assets in the short to medium term and maintain a low cost but longer term exploration effort in Argentina. Contact Us
