AurCrest Gold Inc. is a mineral exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral resources in northern Ontario.  The Company’s current focus is its Richardson Lake and Bridget Lake gold properties.

 

Richardson Lake is a gold exploration prospect located in the Birch-Uchi belt of the Red Lake mining division and consists of 2 blocks of unpatented mineral claims called the Richardson Lake and Swain Lake properties totaling approximately 28,000 acres. In late 2011 and into 2012 the Company completed 8 drill holes for a total of 1,613 metres with a new gold discovery in hole RL-12-07. 

 

Bridget Lake is a gold exploration prospect, joint ventured to Halo Resources. Halo acquired a 65-per-cent interest (from AurCrest) in the nine claim units (144 hectares), and known as the Bridget Lake property, situated in Ball Township, Red Lake mining division. Halo has informed the company that one hole was drilled in the winter of 2012. AurCrest has the obligation to fund 35% of the programs on this project and chose to do so this year
