Klondike Gold Corp.
Klondike Gold Corp. (TSXV: KG) is an established mineral exploration company with highly prospective projects in the Yukon, Portugal, British Columbia, and Ontario. The company is engaged in mineral exploration which includes conventional prospecting, geological and geophysical surveys, applied research, and core drilling.

The Company has been actively exploring in the Yukon since 1986, making it one of the longest standing participants in hardrock exploration and mine development in the Territory. The company currently controls the Lone Star Project and has an active interest in a number of additional gold exploration projects. This knowledge base and database was significantly advanced during the period 2003-2007, when $12 million was spent on exploration. Since then further studies and exploration have led to breakthroughs in the understanding of the geological structure of the region.

A merger is underway to take possession of all the historical and recent data relevant to the Lone Star Project. A new leadership team has been formed and the new geological team has been actively conducting fieldwork, assessments and assembling data to support new approaches that will expand the scope of exploration throughout the area. This exploration team consists of a core group of experienced geologists and geoscientists, in turn supported by a group of consultants and mineral research institutions, all committed to the quest of determining the source(s) of the Klondike gold.

Since the discovery of gold on Bonanza Creek in 1896, mining history has extensively chronicled the stories of the Klondike Gold Rush and the enormous amount of gold produced from the drainages leading away from Eldorado Dome and Lone Star Ridge.
In Portugal the company has acquired four significant licenses and is evaluating their property holdings. Portugal is a mining friendly jurisdiction with known mineral potential and reliable infrastructure. It has one of the oldest mining traditions in the world where mining started before Roman times and continues in one form or another to the present.

In southeast British Columbia, the Company has a highly prospective portfolio of gold projects and holds a large land package prospective for sedimentary exhalative (Sedex, Sullivan) style mineralization.

In Ontario the company holds a gold prospect called the Mattarrow Mine, which consists of shaft and workings on the 150 and 300 foot levels. In 1952/1953 the property produced approximately 40,000 tons of ore averaging 6.13% lead-zinc.
