Lewis® acid butterfly valves are designed with an all-metal construction featuring Lewmet® nickel-chrome alloys. The overall corrosion resistance of Lewmet® alloys in hot sulfuric acid allows Lewis® acid butterfly valves to offer consistently reliable control, even in severe service applications including acid heat exchanger/cooler bypass duty at the pump discharge.
