Connection Systems
Mine Cable Services (MCS) designs and manufactures high voltage cable connection systems ranging from 600 volts to 25000 volts. MCS has also developed electrical cable repair equipment as used in mining operations. The procedures we use and teach ensure the cable is repaired as close to the original manufacturer's specifications as possible.
The Heavy Duty Rocking Horse Skid is designed to support both cable couplers and junction boxes.
The Universal Skid is designed to support cable couplers and junction boxes for visibility and to keep these elevated and protected from mine mud, rock, etc. The skids provide coupler rollover protection. Reinforcing ensures the skid is light-weight yet rugged enough for mine duty.
