Sizes available from 2 inches to 6 inches thick and in all shapes from square to multiple sided as required. Maximum weight approximately 4500 lbs although the majority are smaller sizes that can be handled either by hand or with the aid of small chain blocks.
Abrasion Resistant Steel (BHN 485 Avg.)
Met 500 is a steel product specially developed for severe abrasion and impact applications. The original application was impact hammers and further development carried it over to Large truck loading chute applications.
The key benefits of this product are the significant increase in wear life against sliding abrasion, coupled with the ability to withstand severe impact from larger size material over the entire life of the product.
All Wabi alloys are through hardened to maximize wear from the day of installation until removal.
Wabi Alloy Products incorporate inexpensive overlays that last for the period of overlay thickness.
