Boosters
Boosters are like high explosive amplifiers, sensitive enough to pick up initiation from a detonator and then reliably initiate bulk blasting agent, such as ANFO and emulsion blends. They ensure the initiation of bulk explosives in the adverse conditions found at the bottom of most blastholes.
Designed with high detonation velocity of over 7,000 metres/second. Pentex™ boosters are available with single or double detwells to accommodate detonators and detonating cord for different applications.
The Osx™ 8 seismic explosives range is designed to provide the reliability and energy required to capture high-quality signals in geophysical exploration. We designed this range for harsh exploration environments, with high water-resistance for long sleep times. The cast explosives are available in a range of sizes and in both degradable and non-degradable formats.
