The Scavenger Effluent pumps come in two major categories. 1/3, 4/10 and 1/2 hp models are suited for flows up to 88 US gal/min and heads up to 73 ft. For larger tasks, 1 and 2 hp models can deliver up to 175 US gal/min and heads up to 108 ft.

Many features are packed into the small Scavenger EF pumps. They feature a high torque capacitor motor that instantaneously clears the pump’s volute of debris upon startup. This, combined with the vortex impeller, ensures a clog-free operation of the pump. The discharge is standard 2 in NPT vertical, or 1¼ in NPT horizontal on the high-head model.
The larger versions feature the ABS patented ContraBlock impeller with an adjustable wear plate system for clog-free operation. The ABS exclusive triple seal design provides three levels of sealing for outstanding reliability. A double mechanical seal located inside the oil chamber provides two full levels of sealing and an additional V-Ring type lip seal between the oil chamber and pump volute provides a third, extra level of sealing.
