With Bulk products ranging from less than half, to almost triple the Relative Bulk Strength of ANFO, alongside increased flexibility in Velocity of Detonation, customers have greater choice and unprecedented control of blasting outcomes.

Orica’s Bulk Explosives range is comprised of: Flexigel™, ANFO, Fortis™, Fortan™, Aquacharge™, Centra™, Civec™, Subtek™, Vistis™ and Vistan™ – and includes products for both surface and underground applications. The range includes specific formulations for reactive ground, hot ground, fume prone ground, longer sleep times, deep holes, and greater heave, just to name a few.

Subtek™ Eclipse™ has been specifically designed to meet the needs of underground mines with mildly reactive ground. Subtek™ Eclipse is a primer sensitive bulk emulsion explosive with excellent water resistance.
Subtek™ Eclipse™ Ammonium Nitrate Emulsion Phase (ANE) is the emulsion component used to deliver Subtek™ Eclipse™ in underground mining operations. It is an explosive emulsion product manufactured from oxidizer solution, fuel and solid sensitizers.
Premium Chemically Sensitized, Variable Energy Booster Sensitive product in a range of densities
Subtek™ Intense bulk emulsion is a primer sensitive pumped emulsions designed specifically for Underground operations. Subtek™ Intense is suitable for use in extreme conditions where a more robust bulk product is required.
Subtek™ Intense Ammonium Nitrate Emulsion Phase (ANE) is the emulsion component used to deliver Subtek™ Intense in underground mining operations. It is an explosive emulsion product manufactured from oxidizer solution, fuel and solid sensitizers.
The Vistis™ Bulk System of sensitised, pumped emulsion blends has been designed for blasting in wet blasthole applications where significantly higher energy is required. The extra energy provided by the Vistis™ System can be used to offset energy input in other areas of the mining or milling process, such as drilling and crushing. The Vistis™ Bulk System complements the Orica Vistan™ dry hole and Vistan™s dewatered blasthole ranges.
