Outotec's flotation offering is based on the earlier mining and concentrator operations of Outotec's former parent Outokumpu. Development of in-house flotation cells started in the 1960's to satisfy the need for more efficient, more reliable and easy-to-use equipment.
This development has led to many innovative products and processes. For decades, we used to call these flotation technologies with the well-known brand name ”OK”.
