Over the lifetime of the Outotec flotation units, operating costs have proven time and again to be by far the lowest. High reliability and low maintenance enable trouble-free operation, contributing to a rapid return on investment.
Outotec flotation units are built to last. Components and electrical equipment are selected for maximum operating life. For instance, Outotec rotors and stators have proven to be the most wear-resistant available. The wide range of available cell sizes permits plant design to be compact, economical and efficient, without fear of short circuiting, even for today’s high-tonnage operations. Fewer units mean substantial savings in construction costs, piping, cables, instrumentation and auxiliary equipment.
In 2007, Outotec launched the largest TankCell® in the world, TankCell® 300, with over 300m³ of active volume.
In 2012 The TankCell family offers the widest size range on the market from 5 m³ to 500 m³ and the symmetrical design allows a flexible layout.
The new large TankCell e500 has been scaled up from smaller TankCells by using the same rules that made the previous world's largest flotation machine TankCell e300 an immediate success.
