In response to industry demands for more efficient external oxidation technology to convert calcium sulfite to calcium sulfate or commercial grade gypsum, FLSmidth has developed the innovative EIMCO Oxallizer® Oxidation Reactor. In addition to complete sulfite oxidation, the Oxallizer can control gypsum crystal growth to produce particles with excellent dewatering and wallboard manufacturing characteristics. At the heart of this technology lies the unique and well-proven WEMCO® Induced Air Reactor that eliminates the need for costly compressors.
