Forestry & Sawmills Materials

Improving performance using engineered plastics is what we do
Rugged handling equipment takes a beating
Shock impact applications are commonplace
Dry sliding abrasion is everywhere
Non-flowing bulk materials a reality

Traditional materials like Bronze, Brass, Rubber, Steel are not always the best choice!

Learn how engineered plastics and fabricated plastic parts can increase efficiency and reduce maintenance.

Longer service life
Less change-outs
Reduced impact force transmission
Greatly improved bulk material flow
No lubrication required
Our materials work in all temperatures

TIVAR® Ceram P® is often recognized by it's unique lime green color. Tivar Ceram P® is an outstanding performer in applications marked by high load, high speed and severe sliding abrasion. Composed of virgin ultra high molecular weight (UHMW) polyethylene and premium ceramic and other additives that combine to create a shatter-resistant alternative to sintered ceramics.

Tivar® 88 and Tivar® 88-2 are recognized worldwide as premium lining materials for bulk handling equipment. Manufactured with virgin polymer and proprietary additives including high wearing materials, Tivar® 88 and 88-2 have incredible wear, slip and abrasion resistance characteristics give consistent, smooth and easy flow when handling cohesive or non-free flowing materials.

Plastruthane®  Conveyor Belt Skirting is used alongside bulk material transfer belts. This modified polyurethane strip is extremely tough and resistant to abrasion, cuts, tears and impact.  One of the defining characteristics of our conveyor belt skirting is the way it shapes itself to the belt.  This eliminates product from wedging itself underneath and causing premature wear on your belt. The non-porous nature of the material makes cleaning it a breeze, as well as restricting materials from gathering against it and causing stress on the belt.

Silverslide is manufactured using a high molecular weight, high-density polyethylene modified copolymer. This resin is designed for extrusion into an exceptionally tough sheet and creates a perfect sliding material for bulk products and abrasion-resistant liners.
