A high build, water-based, transparent coating with very low toxicity designed to reduce checking (splitting) on the ends of green lumber. Designed for manual or automated airless spray application to package ends ofdimensioned lumber. Available in clear or pigmented for spray applications to lumber package ends. Chek-Stop will exhibit a high degree of water repellency to reduce moisture transmission, minimize checking, mold and sap stain discoloration.For protection of all species of lumber whether kiln dried or green. Dry times are dependent on temperature and relative humidity. Best results are obtained by coating wood immediately after milling.
