• 40 000 lbs of laod are distributed as follows: 66% on the rear pressure, 0% on the front suspension and 34% on the ground.
• The imprints of the chains are calculated to a penetration to the ground of 6 inches.
• The imprints of the tires are calculated to a penetration to the ground of 4 inches.
• The location of the imprints is calculated in vertical projection in comparison with the surface of chains and tires.
• When the conditions are favourable for the consolidation of the ground, the pressure on the ground is lower because of the spaces empty between the paddles of chains that can be included in the surface calculation (Such as snowshoes).
