Due to the high proportion of synthetic resin in the high-grade timber web, the PERI VT girder is able to maintain its high level of dimensional stability and robustness. Steel caps, secured with side-to-side rivets, provide strong impact and edge protection and extend the service life of the girder.
The VT 20K has been specially developed for use with slab formwork, and is the low-price option for thinner slabs.

The steel caps, with side-to-side rivets, strengthen the end of the girders, reduces the likelihood of the chords splitting and acts as a restraint against sawing off the girder ends.
• 80 x 40 mm cross section of chord
Simple application through the 80 x 40 mm thick chords. This optimized chord cross-section provides sufficient width for nailing, including plywood joints.
