Mine Rescue Handbook

The Handbook of Training in Mine Rescue and Recovery Operations (2011) is a training guide for mine rescue team volunteers. Topics include the care and use of breathing apparatus for protection in irrespirable atmospheres, the detection of noxious gases, specialized emergency response equipment, and accepted procedures for rescue and recovery operations during or after a mine fire. It also serves as a reference guide for mine rescue teams and to assist mine operators during mine rescues or other emergencies.
