FR Insulated Blankets

Insulated blankets used for concrete curing and weather protection are not normally fire retardant (FR). It is relatively easy to make the outer skins of the blanket fire retardant but the insulating foam is quite difficult to make FR. Layfield spent considerable time researching how to make a completely FR insulated blanket. Our FR blankets use both FR shells and foam and pass the NFPA 701 large scale FR test as a complete unit. Our FR blankets are made from considerably better materials than the typical commodity insulated blanket. This makes our FR blankets stronger and reusable for a much larger number of uses.
