The modular solution
The modular conception of R. STAHL wire rope hoists open up a multitude of variations on the basis of series components. Thus individual, custom-built solutions for special installation situations and operating conditions and applications in special ambient conditions can be realized quickly and economically.
Competence on components
The high quality and efficient functioning of the various sub-assemblies guarantee reliable and long-lasting service:
1. Maintenance-free rope drum bearing with central drive.
2. Reliable rope tensioner and robust, hard-wearing rope guide.
3. Three-step spur gear with helical gearing. Low-maintenance oil bath lubrication. OVERLOAD CUT-OFF, integrated into gearbox.
4. Sliding rotor brake motor with two speeds with multi-pole motors.
5. Enclosed brake. Dirt cannot enter from outside, nor can brake dust escape from inside. Enormously long life of the asbestos-free brake that can be adjusted many times. Very quick and easy maintenance.
6. Safety emergency and operational limit switch for top and bottom hook position.
7. The operational hoist limit switch E-A is a combination switch: it cuts the wire rope hoist off operationally in highest and lowest hook position. In addition, it functions as a final limit switch in highest and lowest hook position.
8. All hoists are supplied with overload cut off motor protection.

Monorail trolleys

Applications: on monorail runways and single girder cranes. 2 speeds 6,3/25 m/min (60 Hz) as standard, other speeds available.
Special designs for curved runway available.
Monorail trolleys
“Short headroom” KE
Application: on monorail runways and single girder cranes. Thus great heights of lift can be achieved even in low-ceiling rooms. 2 travel speeds as standard.

Double rail crabs
Applications: on double girder cranes. The extremely compact construction with minimal hook approach and headroom dimensions enables the space available to be exploited to the full. Low-maintenance direct drive, with 2 speeds as standard.
