The KMII Series Manual Chain Hoist is portable and lightweight enough to be transported easily yet durable enough to help you lift up to 20 tons standard.
The durability starts with the components, from the high-grade, alloy steel load chain that’s been galvanized for corrosion-resistance, to the heat-treated alloy steel hooks equipped with latches and inspection points. Even the brake is entirely enclosed to protect against dirt, dust or other elements. These features, among others, make the KMII Manual Chain Hoist the perfect choice for outdoor or rugged industrial use.
Both Manual Trolley and Beam Clamp options are available.
Chain Hoist Safety Features
For improved safety, Konecranes has equipped the KM Series II Manual Chain Hoist with a built-in overload-limiting device to prevent the lifting of loads beyond the rated capacity. This overload-limiting device comes standard in all units except the ¼ ton unit.
Safety and quality features are also present in the chain sprocket, which has been machined as a single piece to provide smoother, more efficient and reliable operation. Dual-pawl Weston-style brakes with two friction discs provide four braking surfaces. More braking surfaces translate into more reliability, giving you more reasons to trust in the quality of Konecranes’ design and engineering.
Built to Exceed Standards
The load chain is rated to grade 80, in conjunction with the ASME B30.21 grade 80 standard. All Konecranes manual lifting products meet or exceed international standards, including ASME.
