MINEX-S is a permanent magnet coupling transmitting torque by magnetic forces between an outer and inner rotor. A containment shroud provides a hermetic seal allowing the coupling to be used with pumps circulating dangerous media. Dynamic shaft seal leaks become a thing of the past when a conventional mechanical coupling assembly is replaced with the MINEX-S.
