The folding platform is delivered to the jobsite completely pre-assembled. All securing components for the folding procedure are captive – they cannot get lost. Accessories are simply hung in or inserted.
• Simple extension to create safe roof access
With a minimum of effort, the folding platform can be transformed into roof edge protection scaffold with a 2 m high safety barrier.
• Numerous utilisation possibilities in concrete construction
If the folding platform is used as shuttering scaffold, the high loads resulting from the wind and working operations are safely transferred into the building.Depending on the wind load, the folding platform can be used with formwork up to 5.40 m high. With support extensions, large openings in the concrete skeleton construction can also be bridged.
• Safety through detailed practical solutions
The handrail frames of the main platform are provided with nail holes which allow easy mounting of handrail planks in filler areas. The universal coupler in the bracket ensures easy assembly of end posts or push-pull prop connectors.
The PERI FB 180-3 folding platform is delivered to the construction site completely pre-assembled. It is simply folded out and mounted on to the structure. The FB 180 platforms can also be easily used on buildings with geometrically complicated shapes. System components provide solutions for internal and external corners. The corner platform can be used for both left and right sides. Through the large uniform bracket spacing and few components, this results in considerable savings in labour and material costs.
The FB 180 system consists of
• FB 180-3/300 folding platform
• FBZ 240 intermediate platform
• FB 180-3 folding bracket
• FEB 180-3/300 folding corner platform
The FB 180-3/300 folding platform (main platform) consists of FB 180-3 folding brackets, easy to assemble struts, multi-layered staging conforming to building authority guidelines and a foldable handrail frame.
The FB 180-3/300 folding platforms in connection with FBZ 240 intermediate platforms allow constant bracket spacings of 2.50 m. A smaller console spacing between the main platforms can be bridged continuously using the FBZ 240 intermediate platform.
Assembly of the FBZ 240 intermediate platform is simple and fast:
Simply fold out, fix and lift the FBZ 240 intermediate platform and place on the main platform. In so doing, the handrail of the intermediate platform hooks on to the folding platform handrail.
Through the installation of the FBE corner frame, the main platform is converted into a FEB 180-3 folding corner platform. This is also available as a pre-assembled platform. This folding platform can be used to cantilever past the corner of a building both to the left and right.
The corner frame does not hinder operations either during stacking or as use as a normal folding platform in the area of the wall.
