Laser Distance Meters
A laser distance meter is a handheld device that uses a laser for measuring distances between two objects. The Leica DISTO™ - the innovative hand-held laser meter for fast and easy distance measurements of length, squares and volumes with the press of a button, original, and most popular laser distance meter. The Leica line of DISTOS save time and money and emphasize your competence with modern measuring methods.

How does a laser distance meter work?
The user aims a red laser dot at an object, such as a wall, pole, cabinet or board. The user then triggers the unit to measure and the distance to the red dot is displayed on the screen. Normally, the unit is placed where the user would hold a tape measure and the dot is aimed at the point to which the tape would be extended. Precision optics and laser physics are used to quickly and accurately determine the distance to the object. The most accurate devices use the phase shift method, accurate within +/- 1/16th inch with a range of up to 600 ft. The most common of these is the Disto by Leica. Leica DISTO™ - the innovative hand-held laser meter for fast and easy distance measurements of length, squares and volumes with the press of a button. Save time and money and emphasise your competence with modern measuring methods.

The Leica DISTO™ D810 touch is the first laser distance meter world-wide with a touch screen, allowing for quick and intuitive operation. Another revolutionary feature allows for measurements with pictures.

The compact and handy base model was specifically designed for indoor applications. Shortcut keys for addition, subtraction, area and volume calculation make measuring fast and very reliable.

The compact and versatile E7300 has multiple functions and is easy to use. Addition, subtraction, area, and volume calculations are achieved with the touch of a button while the last 10 results are stored in the memory.

Designed for demanding job site conditions and measuring tasks, the E7400x is drop tested to heights of 6 feet onto hard surfaces.
