• The full splice width is installed progressively by pressing in 76mm long strips of fasteners.
• The force transmitted through the lacer ensures high pressure at the lacer jaw, which is necessary to squeeze the fasteners and correctly embed them into the belt.
• Special packing plates are available which are fitted behind the jaws for belts less than 8mm thick.

The portable GEM Splicing machine is available with a comb pitch of 7mm. The lacer is lightweight and easy to carry to the job site, set up and use to install the GEM ELR fastener.
Our standard machine is suitable for 230mm comb lengths, and can be manufactured to suit 460mm comb widths. (Available on special request only.)
