Mud Rotary / Core Drilling Rigs
Tervita has been operating in the Athabasca oil sands for over a decade. Our Gus Pech core drilling rigs are utilized to drill shallow (<200m) core holes. These drilling rigs are required by oil sands producers to determine the quantity and quality of their oil sands reserves and delineate their resource potential.
Capable of production core drilling, hollow / solid Stem augering, air and mud Rotary drilling for geotechnical / environmental drilling, geothermal drilling, monitoring well installation, etc.
Attachment options include: Split-spoon and shelby tube sampling, hydraulic drop hammer for measuring soil. Density conversion
Drill depths up to 100 feet (contingent on auger size and soil conditions). Split-spoon and shelby tube sampling, hydraulic drop hammer for measuring soil.
