Heat Resistant Gloves

PROTECT YOUR HANDS FROM BURNS

Heat-related injuries are among the most dangerous and severe.

HEAT RELATED RISKS IN THE WORKPLACE

One of the most dangerous industrial hazards is fire and heat related injuries. Without proper glove protection, one can be exposed to possibilities of burn while working around extremely hot machinery and materials. As we see with metallurgy environments, workers are constantly around high temperatures accompanied with sparks and flames. When heating metal for welding or shaping, it requires heating the material to degrees as high as 2500 degrees Fahrenheit / 1300°C. During these processes, you, of course, utilize a variety of tools to handle the heated metal. However, that doesn’t mean you are at zero risk of coming into direct contact with the metal should it slip or move out of place.

But also, heat hazards can be found in industrial manufacturing, chemical environments and in automotive. Regarding industrial manufacturing, even if sparks and flames are not present, running machinery can carry high temperatures as well and can burn to the touch. Showa’s heat resistant glove family provides amazing protection for intermittent heat up to 500°F /260°C. SHOWA’s heat resistant gloves are designed to withstand heat exposure while maintaining superior tactile dexterity. Heat resistant gloves can be seen in multiple environments. Gloves within this family also carry other protective features such as abrasion, cut and chemical resistance.

Designed for optimal cut and abrasion resistance, the S-TEX 377SC cut protection glove features a high-performance S-TEX® liner with Hagane Coil™ technology.
The full nitrile coating and additional foam nitrile palm dip provide superior grip and protect the hand from oils, hydrocarbons, grease, and abrasion. A gauntlet style reinforced safety cuff provides additional protection to the wrist and forearm.
For comfort, the S-TEX 377SC features a seamless knit to reduce irritation and an ergonomic design that reduces hand fatigue.
Durability meets comfort with the S-TEX 376 SC cut-resistant gloves.
Engineered with steel-reinforced Hagane Coil® technology and a gauntlet style reinforced safety cuff, the S-TEX 376 SC offers high-performance cut protection to the hand, wrist, and forearm.
A foam nitrile palm coating provides high abrasion resistance as well as optimum wet and dry grip. The ergonomically designed hand mold reduces hand fatigue and wearer discomfort.
This cut protection glove is designed specifically for use in automotive, stamping, and industrial applications.
A 13 gauge lightweight design offers high dexterity, very high cut resistance, and can be laundered multiple times without compromising the glove’s cut resistance and performance.
Thanks to the lightweight, thin construction, the 257X makes a great liner to additional workwear or PPE.
This cut protection glove is designed specifically for use in automotive, stamping, and industrial applications.

The SHOWA 8814 heat-resistant gloves are designed to withstand temperatures up to 500°F/260°C. Even after multiple washings, the 8814 maintains its heat-protective qualities.
The textured surface of the neoprene coating provides superior tactile dexterity. When working in damp or greasy environments, the impermeable glove keeps hands protected.
Easy donning and doffing makes the glove easy to remove in an emergency.
Combining a DuPont™ Kevlar® cut-resistant liner and sponge nitrile palm coating, the 4561 cut protection glove is engineered to endure.
This glove offers cut, abrasion, and flame resistance without sacrificing comfort or precision. Its sponge nitrile palm coating ensures optimum grip when working in wet or greasy environments.
A seamless knit reduces irritation and the elasticated, form-fitting design prevents dirt from entering.
The SHOWA 6781R chemical-resistant gloves are constructed using triple-layered foam insulation and a strong neoprene coating.
Protect hands from the cold and stay safe when working with temperatures up to 662°F, or 350°C.
