1021990 T-Insulation Kit

Insulation Kits make insulated connections between lengths of Ecoflex Single or Twin Pipe. The shells of each kit feature an inch of closed-cell PEX insulation sealed with a durable, watertight outer coating. The kit features two shells, stainless steel bolts, plastic pins and joint sealing compound.  Use only Uponor Rubber End Caps with this kit.

Elbow Insulation Kit

The Elbow Insulation Kit makes an insulated elbow connection of single or twin-style Uponor Ecoflex products with a jacket size of 5.5", 6.9" and 7.9". The kit features two shells, stainless steel bolts, plastic pins and joint-sealing compound. Used with Uponor Rubber End Caps only.

 

Shrinkable Repair Tape

Uponor Shrinkable Tape is designed to repair minor damage to the corrugated HDPE outer jacket of Ecoflex® pre-insulated pipe. Trim all sharp edges from damaged area using a sharp razor knife. Remove debris from surface and ensure it is clean. With continuous movement, pre-heat the area around the damaged section with a medium-torch flame. Position repair tape over damaged area, ensuring it covers the area completely and extends beyond the damaged area on both sides by at least six inches. With continuous movement, apply gentle flame to inside of repair tape and wrap tape around jacket circumference. To seal the repair, apply gentle flame with continuous movement to the outside of the installed repair tape. Backfill trench by hand over repair taking care not to damage the repair.
