Thermon Heating Systems

Filtration Systems

3L Filters™ by Thermon has a broad range of standard and custom products and includes liquid filters, strainers, separators, pressure vessels, and engineered products and systems. 3L Filters™ by Thermon has special expertise for nuclear, petrochemical, water treatment and environmental applications.

The ACF Series Activated Carbon Filter removes dissolved organics from liquid streams by adsorption. Typical uses include removal of chlorine, dissolved organics, hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons in water treatment systems, as well as removal of acids in amine treatment systems.

3L Filters™ has exceeded the most demanding nuclear filtration requirements for over 40 years. We design and manufacture products for nuclear applications in PWR, BWR and PHWR nuclear reactors. A broad range of standard and custom products includes cartridge filters, strainers, demineralizers, recombiners, separators, pressure vessels and engineered systems.
Our nuclear quality program complies with ASME NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ANSI N45.2, 10 CFR Part 21 and CSA N285.0.
Pleated cartridge construction improves filtration efficiency, dirt holding capacity and flow rates.
Fulflo® Pleated 336 size filter cartridges provide highly efficient removal of solid contaminants from a variety of petrochemical, refinery and oilfield applications. Cartridges are manufactured from premium grade phenolic impregnated cellulose and polypropylene blown media. These structures provide superior removal efficiency. The cartridges are available in 3µ, 10µ, 12µ, 22µ, and 100µ pore sizes. (99.98% removal; ß = 5000).
Typical applications include petrochemical, refineries, oil fields, produced water, amines and glycols.
High efficiency, flow rate, dirt holding capacity & high pressure pleated cartridges.
Fulflo™ 1401 cartridges are designed to replace similar competitive cartridges in high pressure water injection & disposal, gas streams and fluid processing. The cartridges are available in cellulosic and polypropylene media. Fulflo™ 1401s are available in absolute ratings of 2.5, 6, 10, 12, 22, and 100 microns (ß = 5000, 99.98%).
Typical applications include water injection, solvents, acids, chemicals, hydrocarbons and water.
