The hydrocarbon stop valve acts as an automated shut off system that allows water to drain quickly out of virtually any type of containment system but shuts off and stops hydrocarbons from leaving the containment area.

 

Independent laboratory testing confirms “No trace of oil and grease mineral/synthetic percentage detected in water with a detection limit of 0.5 part per million in the effluent.” (Third party lab authentication)

 

Q-Max High Efficiency Hydrocarbon Stop Valve is ideal for any type of de-water application where hydrocarbons are present. It is designed to capture hydrocarbons like diesel and transformer oil.  Applications include but are not limited to: concrete or impermeable containments, above ground storage tank containments, portable spill containments, solar and wind farms, and many more applications.

 

Q-Max High Efficiency Hydrocarbon Stop Valve meets SPCC regulations for secondary containment. The valve can be anywhere from 12 to 24 inches long depending on the application and how quickly water needs to be evacuated.
