We have one of the largest and most comprehensive portfolios of process water treatment chemistries in the mining industry, supported by a dedicated team of applications engineers and research scientists.

With our process chemistries and support capabilities, we can help you establish new productivity benchmarks for your operations, maintaining high safety standards and requiring no capital investments.

Zalta viscosity modifiers are a family of low-molecular-weight polymers, oligomers and surfactants that alter the flow properties of fluids. They reduce the viscosity of process slurries to increase solids content in plant flows, increase production volume and improve water utilization. They work by altering the surface charge to reduce the particle-particle interaction. This prevents particles from aggregating, which reduces the yield stress of the suspension.

Zalta grinding aids are designed to work in these demanding environments. Based on proprietary chemistry, this family of products reduces ore cohesion and adhesion throughout the grinding circuit, increasing throughput and eliminating production bottlenecks.

Zalta dust suppressants are proven to deliver superior dust-control performance, which increases productivity and profitability for mining operators. Used in dust abatement systems, Zalta dust suppressants also solve health, safety and environmental challenges.

Zalta antiscalants use multiple scale control mechanisms to reduce the potential for scale formation. These polymer chemistries control scale in many mineral processing applications, from process water to Merrill Crowe circuits.

Our revolutionary OnGuard 3S analyzer provides accurate scale measurement in real time and provides advanced warning of potential upset conditions like fouling factor changes. The analyzer uses patented ultrasound technology to detect scale deposition at levels as low as 1 micron, providing unparalleled sensitivity as compared to other scale measurement techniques.

Biosperse chlorine stabilizers, a suite of proprietary chemistries, are used in combination with sodium hypochlorite to produce a patented, in situ stabilized active chlorine solution. The resulting solution effectively controls both planktonic microorganisms and biofilm in influent water, process water, and once-through and open recirculating cooling systems. The in situ stabilized active chlorine solution is safe and easy to use and does not cause any of the adverse side effects associated with using strong oxidizing biocides.
