The simple design means there are no moving mechanical parts to break down or jam, reducing maintenance costs. This type of valve is ideally suited to marine outfall diffusers.
The Series 1000 Pinch Valve features a simple, proven and cost-effective design. Virtually maintenance-free, the sleeve is the valve’s only wetted part, eliminating possible contamination of the process materials.
Virtually all pulsating equipment, such as pumps and compressors, generate vibrations in both the flow and system piping. Vibration can increase loads on equipment, reduce efficiency, and increase maintenance costs. Continuous vibration leads to settling in the system which causes misalignment. Noise from vibration can also make the work environment intolerable.
