SPR’s Portable Line Boring Machines deliver the precise bore your application requires, while the end-mount design makes it easy to set-up so you can get your job done fast. These machines accommodate a wide range of bore diameters and are extremely rigid due to their dual guide bar design.  They can be setup both horizontally and vertically and are portable enough to get into challenging locations. Along with variable speed feed and rapid traverse, these machines use our Universal Mounting System providing a single, interchangeable set-up for both line boring and SPR’s Auto Bore Welding Systems.

4-14 HD Line Boring Machine

With up to 351ft. lbs. of torque at the bar and a feed motor that delivers 30 ft. lbs. of torque, heavy cuts are made easy. York has two options available to suit every users need, the manual control machine for use with the 5hp hydraulic power unit and the remote control machine for use with the 10hp hydraulic power unit.

Cadet

SPR York’s Cadet is a general use line boring machine for contractors concerned with maintaining their own equipment. It features a bi-directional adjustable feed speed with rapid traverse. This is a value-packed machine with all the features you would expect at an affordable price. The Cadet is ideal for servicing small fleets, will reduce heavy equipment downtime, and allow repairs to be scheduled as needed.

12-36 Line Boring Machine

The SPR York 12-36 line boring machine can be set up several ways depending on the work area. Tack weld plates are provided, but in some cases, you may want to pick up an existing bolt pattern on the work piece. If so, a special set up fixture would be required and can be manufactured by SPR York Portable Machine Tools.

Model 2000 & 2500 Boring Bar

The Model 2000 machine uses an 8″ diameter boring bar to machine bores from 16″ to 60″ diameter. The Model 2500 machine uses a 10″ diameter boring bar for boring from 28″ to 72″ diameter.
