Superior’s O.D. Mount Flange Facers are the ideal machine for facing and end-prepping all types of flange surfaces. These belt driven machines use adjustable cam tensioners driven with a pneumatic motor, producing precise and repeatable results. The slide and compound are guided by a precision ball screw and linear rails resulting in a rigid system with exceptionally smooth travel. The compound can swivel to any angle off vertical providing flexibility to machine a variety of different gasket surfaces.

SPR offers ID Mount Flange Facers that are compact, lightweight, and cost effective. These versatile machines are effortless to set up, have a bi-directional feed, and an optional beveling head that is easily connected. The powerful pneumatic motor comes with a filter, lubricator, and flow control. Options available from 3” to 120”. 

SPR’s beveling machine offers a worm gear drive unit, offering more contact between the connecting gears. This allows the machine to bevel heavier wall thickness, over 1″ (25.4mm) compared to other beveling machines on the market. The main body is machined from solid blocks, and the mandrel blades are secured into the mandrel, requiring no springs to hold them on. Our machines also have three tool blocks that hold the tool bits, which will assist in beveling, facing and counter boring all at the same time. 

The Rotary Mill RMM-66 performs face milling, single point machining and grinding applications while accurately traveling on a circular profile using a heavy-duty ring gear to maintain rigidity. Both feed and rotation are hydraulically driven with continuous speed control and are independently adjustable while in use. This highly configurable product allows for many mounting options such as OD, ID or face mounting. 

SPR’s Exchanger Mill is designed to machine pass partitions and pass grooves on tube heat exchangers with the goal of reducing weight without sacrificing performance. The lightweight design allows the user to set up and align the mill more efficiently than the heavier linear/fly cutting mills commonly used for exchanger applications. Thus, allowing the technicians to complete the work faster, safer, and more cost effective.

SPR’s Linear Mill is a three-axis milling machine used for precision milling of critical mounting surfaces. These mills are designed with ball screws and rails on all three axis, X-Y-Z, for precise backlash-free motion. Multiple spindle positions allow for a greater range of milling adjustments whether it is horizontal, vertical and/or angular (90°). This allows the machine to produce CNC quality work in the most demanding of applications.
