Drive-Line Incorporated

KEB

Established in 1930, industrial clutch products has designed and manufactured a complete line of dry and oil-immersed clutches and brakes, ranging in size from 8 to over 42 inches in diameter, with torque capacities exceeding four million pound-inches. We also specialize in hydraulics and controls for use with our clutches and brakes.
We pride ourselves in our ability to respond to customers needs for standard, modified and custom designs for unique or volume requirements. We are dedicated to ongoing research and development programs and full scale testing.
Worldwide installations include metal forming, mining, and marine applications to name a few. Industrial clutch components have been satisfying power transmission needs at a competitive price for almost 70 years.

The KEB COMBISTOP TYPE 17 eliminates the need for expensive double shaft motors NEMA mounting available from 56C to 254C. Reliable replacement for existing AC brake modules. Standard washdown housing with hand release. Rigid construction and long life. This brake is available torque from 3 to 75 ft lbs. Convenient conduit box and this brake can be mounted vertically or horizontally with one brake.

Digital Motion Control with KEB COMBIVERT provides a complete product offering for synchronous and asynchronous motors for demanding applications up to 900 kW.

KEB COMBIBOX is an integral industrial brake and clutch module for start-stop applications. The patented external readjusting of the air gap provides wear adjustment without disassembly of the unit.

COMBINORM current-operated industrial clutches and brakes use the flux of an electromagnet, concentrated on two pole surfaces, for the connecting, separating or holding of shafts and the connected loads.

COMBIPERM are electromagnetically released permanent magnet industrial brakes and clutches for dry operation. The flux of these industrial brakes and clutches is generated by permanent magnets. This effect permits the connection of shafts in voltage-free conditions or the safe deceleration of masses.

COMBISTOP are electromagnetically actuated dual surface spring-applied DC industrial brakes for dry application. The braking force is applied by the springs and released through the electromagnetic force.
