They meet the stringent requirements regarding safety and ergonomics. In a longwall complex, roof support shields cooperate with a heading shearer and a face conveyor. The compactness of the construction and the high degree of roof coverage ensure a productive longwall exploitation. Our Powered Roof Supports come with the latest longwall automation systems and can be operated either locally, remotely, or semi-automated. In seams with a longitudinal inclination of over 12 degrees the support collaborates with a conveyor stabilization, a roof shield correction, and dip lower section protection equipment.
