Couplers

AMI Attachments is an industry leading North American manufacturer of quality, reliable attachments for excavators, backhoes, wheel loaders and other heavy construction equipment. With a head office and manufacturing facility in Ontario, west of Toronto in the Region of Waterloo, AMI Attachments serves the heavy equipment attachment market across Canada and the United States.

Connecting ease-of-use with jobsite safety is the AMI Hydraulic Pin Grab Coupler for Compact Excavators with five integrated safety features. From inside the cab, the operator can switch attachments quickly, easily and most importantly know it's locked on tightly. Protecting the operator from unexpectedly bumping the wrong switch in the cab is the upgraded two-stage control. The in-cab control features two buttons: the first requires the operator to press and hold for two seconds and then press the second button at the same time to reverse the hydraulic flow in order to release the attachment.

The spring-loaded mechanical pin grab connects quickly to your standard pin assembly attachments. Pin Grab couplers can reverse hold the buckets for easier backfilling. Minimizing wear overtime, AMI features a slack adjustment that keeps the bucket tight.

AMI Couplers give you the advantages of a coupler without sacrificing your breakout force. The wedge-style adaptor keeps the pivot point at the same height as a bucket attached directly to the boom. The adjustable wedge also provides a tight fit, eliminating slack.

Truly the leader in hydraulic wedge couplers, AMI offers the most innovative design features including compact size (even on full-size excavators) and an exclusive mechanical safety lock like nothing else ever invented. The wedge coupler system gives you the full power of your excavator without sacrificing break-out force. The unique bucket lugging keeps the pin-to-tip radius exactly to factory specification. The Hydraulic Wedge Coupler is the fastest and easiest way to switch attachments. A spring-loaded safety pin instantly locks the wedge and is visible from the cab so you know it's locked. The hydraulic release feature also allows the operator to release the safety lock without leaving the cab. The low profile design keeps the pins low, meaning you don't have to sacrifice breakout force.
