FIRELINE 17/80 HNS LS is a flexible Ultra High Temperature detonating cord specifically developed for perforating systems that exceed the limits of FIRELINE 17/8 HMX. FIRELINE 17/80 HNS LS is Dyno Nobel’s best detonating cord for use in ultra high temperature environments and is made from the highest purity HNS explosive feedstock commercially available with “shrinkage resistant” construction and a special extruded high temperature jacket. In addition, FIRELINE 17/80 HNS LS can be used in exposed service systems under certain conditions. Contact your Dyno Nobel representative for details.

FIRELINE 17/80 HMX LS XHV is designed for use in “high shot density” perforating systems where charge interference may be of concern and employs “shrinkage resistant” construction materials with a higher nominal velocity of detonation (+13% nominal VOD) than standart HMX cord. A more flexible nylon jacket facilities easier installation in the newer combination (wireline and/or TCP) high shot density systems thah use significant charge alignment deviations.

FIRELINE 17/80 HMX LS EXPOSED is a flexible High Temperature/High Pressure (HT/HP) cord specifically developed for encapsulated perforating systems, back-off or other “down hole” exposed service systems. It is our best detonating cord for use in caustic environments. The detonating cord utilizes the highest purity HMX explosive feedstock commercially available, “shrinkage resistant” construction and a special high temperature jacket. This jacket allows the cord to be exposed to well bore fluids at temperature and pressure.

FIRELINE 17/80 HMX LS is designed to be used in carrier-based perforating systems within HMX time and temperature operating ranges, where the jacket is protected or not exposed to pressure and/or fluids. Tubing or wireline conveyed perforating systems shall be employed within time and temperature limits (see graph). Nylon jacket limitations will not normally permit this product to be used in exposed applications within HMX application ranges.

FIRELINE 13/60 HMX LS is designed to be used with a tubing or wireline conveyed perforating system used within time and temperature limits (see graph below). This product has been successfully used in carrier-based perforating systems within HMX time and temperature operating ranges (see graph) where the jacket is protected from pressure and/or fluids. Nylon jacket limitations will not normally permit this product to be used in exposed applications within HMX application ranges.

FIRELINE 10/50 HMX LS RIBBON is specially processed using “shrinkage resistant” construction components.
