Intense conditions
The Reflex HT EZ-Trac is a complete downhole surveying package for magnetic multishot wellbore surveying. Specifically developed for the intense downhole conditions of geothermal exploration, the Reflex HT Ez-Trac can provide the time and cost efficiencies while performing multishot surveys without damaging the instrument.
The Reflex HT Ez-Trac easily provides highly accurate survey data from within a thermally stable ‘Inconel’ pressure barrel with the capacity to operate at pressures of 20,000 psi.
Survey methods
The HT EZ-Trac records all directional data in non-magnetic drill collar or open hole conditions taking up to 9000 individual measurement points. Every survey point is individually recorded and it is free from any cumulative error build up over distance or time. The HT EZ-Trac is a multi-functional instrument, capable of surveying in multishot, singleshot or orientation mode.
Data transfer and display
All communication with the sealed surveying probe is via a high speed wireless infra-red data port. Survey results are quickly downloaded and displayed, post survey, to the Reflex EZ-Com II controller at surface, eliminating the risk of human error. Final survey data transfer is completed via a USB memory stick or USB cable connection from the Reflex EZ-Com II controller to a compliant laptop loaded with the S Process desktop software.
