Application
Diesel Locomotive Cables are manufactured using sizes 10 AWG through 777.7 MCM stranded tinned annealed copper per AAR 589. A paper or polyester tape separates the conductor from the EPDM rubber insulation to aid in stripping. A black, heavy duty CPE sunlight resistant jacket is extruded over the insulation. Maximum conductor temperature is 90°C for normal operation in wet or dry locations
