Epiroc’s range of raise boring machines includes models for both conventional raise and boxhole boring as well as down reaming and it covers diameters from 0,5 meters up to over 6 meters. The boring drills are used in both civil engineering and mining applications for drilling shafts for ventilation, drainage, ore passes, back fills, hoisting, slotholes, and penstocks for hydro power plants. Features include drill pipe handling for easy and safe pipe handling as well as the computerized Rig Control System, RCS, which improves drilling accuracy, equipment reliability, and serviceability of the raise boring machines.
Robbins 34RH QRS is a low profile raiseboring machine for holes ranging from 0.72 to 1.2 m in diameter. This powerful Robbins machine can tackle most rock types to give you the power you need in tight spaces. Robbins 34RH QRS moves into position quickly and eliminates many of the time-consuming preparations necessary with traditional raiseboring machines. When access to the lower level in a mine is limited, Robbins 34RH QRS adds power and flexibility to your operations.
Robbins 34RH is a low-profile raiseboring machine for holes ranging from 0.6 to 1.5 m (2-5 ft.) in diameter. The highly versatile 34RH combines form and function to save you time and money. Thanks to its small footprint, the rig requires a smaller drilling pad and fewer tie-down bolts. Incredibly effective in conventional raiseboring, as well as down reaming and upward boxhole boring, the Robbins 34RH is the most versatile raise drill rig on the market.
Easer L features high versatility with both upwards and downwards drilling, but without the need of a concrete platform. Significantly less risk of "freezing" the ground thanks to the large diameter of the drill hole results in higher productivity. Thanks to the high accuracy of the mechanical rock excavation method, the hole deviation is less than 1%.
