CARPET LEADER
A strong, durable, stretch-resistant; yet economical nonwoven polyester fabric with a woven fabric core typically used as a leader material for processing carpet in a continuous dyeing operation. Due to the unique nonwoven and woven construction of Carpet Leader, the fabric does not fray, which allows it to be easily pinned or secured to stenter frame ovens. The porous structure of the fabric allows dye to easily pass through and does not retain color. Carpet Leader fabrics are available in two stock weights and multiple wide width formats to fit most processing equipment.

REEL WRAP
A reinforced polypropylene nonwoven fabric used for protecting the carpet from damage during the beck dyeing process where the carpet is immersed into a stainless steel tank containing dye. The dye is then heated and mixed continually to achieve consistent and uniform color.  This type of dyeing is primarily used in the dyeing of solid colors and also used when dyeing heavier carpet types.
Albarrie’s Reel Wrap protects the carpet from damage by the reel slats during the beck dyeing process. Reel Wrap is available in multiple wide width formats.
