Axial excluder seal HRC1 for wind turbines

The axial excluder seal HRC1 from SKF is designed to offer a high-performing alternative to rubber excluder seals that can wear out quickly due to the abrasive counterfaces and poorly lubricated conditions often encountered in main shaft applications.
The HRC1 seal is made of a special H-ECOPUR, an SKF-developed polyurethane material with excellent abrasion resistance and tear strength. The engineered design helps keep the sealing lip lubricated, while minimizing friction and wear. Together, seal design and material result in significantly extended seal service life, meeting standard wind farm maintenance inspection schedules.
Available in solid and split executions, this seal also features a steel band clamp with a fast-lock mechanism for easy up-tower installations.
