Sodium Sulfite 15% Solution
Sodium sulfite is a 15% solution of sodium sulfite with the chemical formula Na2SO3.
Applications:
• Dechlorination in municipal wastewater, pulp & paper, power, and textile water treatment plants
• Boiler water treatment
• Oxygen scavenger
• Preservative
• Pharmaceuticals
• Flue gas desulfurization
• Chemical manufacturing in the sulfonation process
• Chemical Composition:
• Sodium Sulfite, wt% 15 +/- 1
• Sodium Sulfate, wt% 1.0 max
• pH 8.0 – 10.0
