Wear Plates

Wear Plates are used to effectively cover areas such as chutes, hoppers, bins,impact walls, screen plates, and general wear protection in many proven fixed plant applications. They offer a cost effective solutions to wear problems.Available in various sizes or made to customer requirements.

The Wear plate will outlast quenched and tempered steels by up to 12 times and white iron by up to 4 times. It maintains the efficiency of chutes, bins, hoppers, buckets and other material handling equipment because it is quickly polished by abrading materials. This produces a surface with a low coefficient of friction, which lessens the likelihood of hang-ups.

We specialize in thin and precise abrasion resistant wear steel with singularly tight variance constraints. Our specific approach to strip plates production also means we achieve a more even result at any given target thickness. The durable and load-bearing steel is available in many different grades, all produced for a long life in a tough environment. Standard sizes available. Custom dimensions are available upon request.

A unique abrasion resistant chromium-carbide overlay on a mild steel base plate. It is designed for areas with moderate impact and severe abrasion. This plate can be cut, formed, or rolled. Our unique overlaying process produces a plate with a surface that is harder, tougher, and more wear resistant than plate made by any other process.
