Surge Protection

Eaton has a comprehensive array of surge protective devices and suppressors to meet your needs, ranging from residential to industrial applications. They help reduce costly downtime and protect sensitive electronic equipment against the damaging effects of transients caused by lightning, utility switching, internal load switching and more.

Eaton offers a broad line of accessories for a wide range of needs throughout the home. Surge protection adapters and grounded or ungrounded outlet taps and adapters are manufactured under rigorous quality standards and built with high quality materials.

Sensitive IT equipment requires powerful surge protection. The PSPD is designed specifically with data centre surge protection needs in mind. Form C relay contacts enable remote monitoring of your surge protection through your building management software. With reduced maintenance costs and built-in filtering, the PSPD is a surge protection solution for the whole data centre at a price that won’t break the budget.

Eaton offers a full range of innovative, reliable surge protection solutions to protect against the damaging effects of lightning, utility switching, switching electric motors and more. Each product is independently tested and backed by the largest engineering and technical support in the industry.

Eaton’s SPD series side-mounted surge protection device offers the most advanced surge protection for industrial and commercial applications. Available in NEMA 1, NEMA 4 or NEMA 4X stainless steel enclosures, there is a solution for all electrical applications, including service entrances, distribution switchboards, panelboards and point-of-use equipment.

Eaton’s SPD series integrated surge protection device offers the most advanced surge protection for integration directly into Eaton electrical assemblies. With an available remote display and the lowest possible let-through voltage, this surge device brings superior protection to Eaton panelboards, switchboards, automatic transfer switches, bus plugs, motor control centres and switchgear.
