This huge open pit mine is Canada's largest iron ore mine, currently producing 17 million tonnes of iron ore concentrates per year. The majority of concentrate (13 million tonnes) is pelletized, while the rest is sold directly. 
Hecla Mining Company’s rich history of mining has distinguished it as a respected precious metals producer. Hecla is not only the largest and one of the lowest-cost U.S. silver producers, but also a growing low-cost gold producer. It is the oldest precious metals mining company in North America.    
Labrador Iron Mines is engaged in the mining of iron ore and in the exploration and development of direct shipping iron ore projects (the "Schefferville Projects") in the central part of the prolific Labrador Trough region, one of the major iron ore producing regions in the world.
QIT-Fer et Titane exploits an ilmenite deposit at Lac Tio, near Havre-Saint-Pierre, Quebec, and operates a metallurgical complex in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec, where high-quality titanium dioxide, pig iron and steel are extracted from this ore.
LaRonde is Agnico Eagle’s flagship mine, and it is located in the Abitibi region of northwestern Quebec. LaRonde has one of the largest gold reserves of any operating mine in Canada and has produced almost 4.3 million ounces of gold since it opened in 1988.
Raglan Mine is part of the Glencore Xstrata Group. Our installations are located at the extreme limit of Northern Quebec, where we operate one of the richest base-metal mines in the world.
The 100% owned Renard Diamond Project, Stornoway’s flagship asset, is located near the Otish Mountains in north-central Quebec and is well on track to becoming Quebec’s first diamond mine. 
Sleeping Giant is an underground gold mine and mill located in the Abitibi region of northeastern Quebec, near the town of Amos. The mine was discovered in 1976 and mining began in 1988. It was shut down in 1991 and reopened in 1993.  The Mine is a typical "narrow vein" gold mine as it commonly found in the region.
The Westwood Project is located on the Doyon property, 2.5 kilometres east of the Doyon Gold Mine in the Bousquet Township, approximately 40 kilometres east of Rouyn-Noranda and 80 kilometres west of Val d’Or in southwestern Québec, Canada.
